The Invited Pen / Electoral Justice in Ibero America

The Ibero-American electoral contentious history records in the Constitutions of the nineteenth and part of the twentieth century, a system of electoral justice assigned to the legislative body (also called contentious political electoral), by reserving to the Legislature, the alleged lawmakers or a part thereof, the right to decide on the validity or invalidity of a particular election.

The aforementioned electoral justice system assigned to the legislative body generally coexisted with a variety of administrative resources that could be brought, during the preparation stage of the election, before a body responsible for organizing the elections, and sometimes with different remedies prior to election day before the bodies of ordinary jurisdiction (such as those relating to electoral rolls).
